Skin After Acne | Natural Healthy Skin Look

I've mentioned a couple of times that I've suffered from acne since I was 18. I wouldn't say that my acne is completely gone as I still break out sometimes but my skin has drastically changed last year and no, no harsh medication was needed, just using the correct skincare products and eating non greasy food was enough.
But I won't be talking about skincare products today even if that is the clue for healthy skin, that will be blogged another day.

Today I'm showing the products I go for when I want my skin to look natural and healthy, the products that cover up my imperfections without making my face look too cakey, products suitable for oily and sensitive skin that are easy to find.
These pictures have absolutely no Photoshop and they were taken with natural light (I'm sorry for my huge pores!). Here is the list:

-Benefit The Porefessional: Makes skin a lot smoother and cover ups some pores, a great base.
-Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Combination / Oily Skin: A medium to high coverage foundation that sinks into the skin and doesn't melt quickly. As it skins in my skin, it skins into my pores too, making them very noticeable.. for this reason I use a primer. I use one layer all over my face and I add another layer on my cheeks as all the discoloration and blemishes are there.
-Inglot Cream Concealers in LW1 and Peach: High coverage and very luminous, they add that nice glow to my skin.
-Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush: It's not just a cute little thing, the pigmentation and color selection are beautiful, looks natural and healthy.
-MUA Heaven & Earth Palette: A neutral palette with decent pigmentation, I'm not in love with the quality of the eyeshadows but they are okay for an everyday use.
-Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen: Another product I don't love and that I won't repurchase, I use it because it's very handy and doesn't smudge easily.
-Wet n Wild Idol Eyes Cream Shadow #130 Pixie: A recent favorite! great for the tear duct area and brow bone.

-MAC Blot Pressed Powder: My favorite powder, I apply this lightly all over my face.
-Burts and Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Pink Blossom: My current favorite lip product at the moment, looks so natural and mosturized, just a little hint of pink.
-MAC Lip Pencil Brick: a very buildable color, it can go from light to dark red.
-Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara: A gorgeous and very affordable mascara, my favorite.

Have you also had acne or complicated skin? What make up products do you use to cover it up? I'm very excited to hear about them!
Flo x

-Wet n Wild Idol Eyes Cream Shadow #130 Pixie: Lo amo!

Alternativa? Revlon Lip Butters.
-Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara: Mi máscara favorita. Alternativas? Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara.

    Excelente post!

  2. Your skin looks lovely and that lip colour is amazing on you! I used to have really bad acne too but had to take Accutane twice in order to clear up my skin.

  6. I love how that blush looks on you! I really like that glow around your under-eye area too. I bought the Covergirl mascara from your review, but I haven't tried it out yet. I'm super paranoid about it smudging, so I'm gonna try that on an off-day where I don't have anything to do. I really hope I'll love it too!

I'm lucky enough to not have acne-prone skin, though my skin is very picky about stuff like foundation and powder. A lot of them tend to look cakey on my skin, or are really hard to blend out. Even a lot of eye primers cake up for me. I'm glad that your acne is fading away, let's hope you'll be acne-free in the future! :)

  7. Your skin looks radiant. Glad to hear you've overcome your skin problem. I absolutely love the color of your lippie and it's very flattering on your skintone. The only skin problem I have is some freckles and I've never been able to get rid of them. Foundation usually does a good job at covering them up.
