Essie Avenue Maintain Review

Essie is another brand that unfortunately is not sold in my country and that I always wanted to try so the first night I arrived to the US I had to go to Walgreens and buy some.
I wanted something close to 'Bikini So Teeny' even though I heard it takes many coats to get a good coverage so I decided to go for 'Avenue Maintain' hoping it would not take 4 coats to look good.

I could not be more wrong with this nail polish, it is amazing! Do you see my nails there? Only two coats + top coat! You can actually get a nice coverage with only one :)
To make them look as pretty as possible I pushed my cuticles with La Roche Posay Lipikar Xerand (a hands and foot miracle), one layer of OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, one layer of Sally Hansen Super Shine Top Coat and Sally Hansen Manicure Clean-Up Pen for touch ups.

What do you think of Essie nail polishes? Please tell me which shades you find problematic!

Essie es otra de esas marcas que no se venden en Argnetina y que siempre quise probar. Así que la primera noche que llegué a USA me fuí derechito a la farmacia Walgreens a comprar algunos esmaltes y otras cosas.

Quería algo parecido a 'Bikini So Teeny', el famoso color celeste bebé de Essie y al mismo tiempo problemático ya que requiere al menos 3 capas para cubrir bien. Con esperanzas de no tener que usar tantas capas me fuí con 'Avenue Maintain', un azul cielo.

Qué genial es equivocarse, este esmalte es genial! Ven mis uñitas? Tomó solo dos capas + top coat para lucir así! De hecho con 1 sola se puede obtener una cobertura decente. Para que mis uñas estén más lindas usé La Roche Posay Lipikar Xerand (mi crema de manos favorita), una capa de OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, una capa de Sally Hansen Super Shine Top Coat y Sally Hansen Manicure Clean-Up Pen for limpiar los bordes de las uñas.

Qué les parece la marca Essie?
