First Time at Lush | Herbalism Review

It was about time to review some of the Lush goodies I got! I was so so excited to finally be able to go to Lush in Orlando, FL, and while my family were buying clothes and stuff I chose to enjoy the Lush experience... I absolutely loved everything and the girls who work there are so kind that I ended up staying a long time that when I left the place my family wasn't there anymore... I was lost for 2 hours in a big mall with no phone :( (but with a big bag full of goodies^^).

I got some bubble baths, bathbombs, gift boxes and skincare products. When she asked me what I was looking for, I told her that something to controil my oily skin and reduce my blemishes and she inmediately said 'Herbalism!'.
Herbalism looks like smashed broccolies, it's very green and it smells so weird I cannot describe it... It doesn't look smooth and creamy like most skincare products so I wasn't quite sure if I wanted it in my face until I tried it in my hand and I saw how it worked.
It is a cleanser suitable for oily and blemish prone skin as it is a blend of rosemary, nettle and chamomile. It also has ground rice bran that acts as an exfoliant while kaolin (known as China clay) reaches deep down into pores to clean out dirt and debris.

I use a tiny bit of Herbalism everytime I have a shower and I love how gentle it is with my skin. It leaves my skin squeaky clean without drying it out. After I wash it off my skin feels very moisturized that I skip toner and sometimes I skip adding moisturizer too.
A really good thing about it is that you don't need to buy the whole black pot, I wasn't sure how it would work in my skin so I chose to get only half of it, which is lasting forever and of course, cost a lot less (only $13 USD).

I am quite enjoying this cleanser and starting to like the smell... Have you tried any Lush cleanser?
Do you you like Lush Skincare produts?

  1. I love how your blog looks so professional! Did you do it all yourself? Next time you manage to go to a lush store you should definitely try their tea tree water, dream cream and their face masks. Those are my all time favourites that I repurchase over and over again!

    1. Hi Alma! No I haven't done it for myself, I had lots of help from a designer (you can see her link in the right side) and I'm so happy with her job!

Also, my boyfriend is getting me that tea tree water as I cannot get it in argentina, so so so excited xx

  3. Looks like you had fun shopping and got yourself a lot of nice things. I haven't shopped at Lush in a while but I do enjoy their products and I tend to look into their skincare section more. I've not tried the Herbalism but I did like Angels on bare skin.

  4. Can't wait to go to lush on monday! Got a long list of things that I want to buy! May have added Herbalism to this list!!
I liked angels on bare skin, that smelt really weird too.
Ocean salt is one of my fave products from lush but it's a bit too abrasive for my skin.

    Saludos!!
