Fancybox trajo las
Sally Hansen Salon Effects, que son como stickers que cubren toda la uña y dicen durar 10 días.
Aunque muchas personas ya hayan hecho un review tenía ganas de hacerlo yo también, así les muestro
mi honesto punto de vista y opinión acerca de este producto, que ya de por sí tenía muchas ganas de probar pero por $80 sentía que había otras cosas mas importantes para comprar primero jaja.

This month here in Argentina we received our first Beauty Box, Fancybox and among all the products it had, it brought the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Strips. They look like nail stickers and claim to last up to 10 days.
Many people made reviews of this product but I wanted to make mine too, with my most honest opinion about this product that I really wanted to try, but for USD 17 (yeah that's how much it costs here) I felt there was other stuff to buy first.

Y éste es el contenido de la cajita: Los stickers para las uñas, una lima (fuerte y suave), un palito de madera para correr la cutícula y las instrucciones.

Vale aclarar que en cada sobrecito donde están las strips (stickers para las uñas) vienen más de 5 strips, dado que no todas tenemos el mismo ancho de uña. Son dos sobrecitos y vendrán alrededor de 16 strips. Todos los strips son bastante largos y se adaptan a todo tipo de uñas.
It's good to mention that each little bag contains more than 5 strips, since we all have different size of nails. There is two little bags and it's a total of 16 strips.
El procedimiento es muy fácil, simplemente hay que limarse las uñas con la parte rosa fuerte de la lima, luego alisarlas con la parte rosa clara, correr las cutículas para atras con el palito de madera y el último paso antes de aplicar las stripes es pasar quitaesmalte para eliminar cualquier marca o suciedad de la uña.
Luego se abren los sobrecitos, lo primero es buscar el stripe adecuado para cada uña, fijarse que cubra bien a lo ancho. Después hay que sacar la primer capa (la superior) que es un plástico transparente y luego la de abajo que es un papel blanco.
Cuando ya tenemos el sticker (strip) en la mano, lo fijamos a nuestras uñas, lentamente y haciendo presion para que no se arrugue, le damos forma y con la parte suave de la lima limamos los bordes de las uñas. Este paso se repite 9 veces más jaja :)
Es un proceso rápido y muy facil, y si queremos máxima adhesión podemos usar una top coat encima del sticker.
It's way too easy, just file your nails with the dark pink side of the filer and smooth them with the light pink side of it. After that use some nail polish remover to eliminate any dirt out of your nails. Once your nails are ready just check which strip fits better to each of your nails, then remove the protective layers and stick it to each nail, be gentle and do it slow. To cut off the excess strip, file the nail with the soft part of the filer (light pink one). It's an easy and quick process. Some people like me used a top coat over it, I kinda regret that haha :P
Mi experiencia:
Es como que me dejaron sin palabras y no en el buen sentido. No me encantaron como pensé que iba a pasar. Me gustaron, funcionan, se adhieren bien, no se siente que tenes nada en la uña, es muy liviano, mas que el esmalte. Esos serían mis comentarios positivos.
Los contras serían: es un sticker y se ve como sticker. Es como tener un pedazo de revista pegado en la uña, quizás lo empeoré poniendole una top coat arriba. No duran 10 días.. Estoy en mi tercer día (las fotos son de hoy) y ayer ya se saltaron algunos costaditos. Si bien el diseño me gustó cuando lo recibí, no me gustó cuando me lo puse. Pienso que algo más simple quedaría mejor.
También tengo otro factor en cuenta y es que mis manos están destrozadas, tengo una alergia que se esparció por casi todos los dedos y mis cutículas quedaron hechas mier**, así que por mucho que me ponga en la uña, la imagen total no va a ser hermosa.
My experience: Kinda speechless but not in the good way. I didn't love them like I thought I would. I liked them, they work, they stick onto the nail pretty good, it feels like you have nothing on your nails, very light effect. That would be the pros.
Cons: They are stickers and they look like them ! It's like having a little piece of a magazine in my nails, maybe I just made it worse by finishing with a top coat over it. They do not last 10 days. I'm on my 3rd day (pics are from today) and some parts are already coming out. I also think that a more design would have looked better.
Ahora, lo volvería a comprar?
No. Personalmente me parece un producto muy caro y no creo que valga los $80 pesos que cuesta. Si estuviese a $30 pesos probablemente lo compraría para alguna ocasión especial, pero hasta ahora no vi ningún diseño que me encandile.
Reconozco que si las tenés a mano te pueden sacar de un apuro y dejar las uñas lindas por vaarios días.
Es un producto que esta bueno probarlo, más si tenés uñas largas hermosas pero no es mi caso, así que tengo todos los contras :(
Now, would I buy it again?
No. Honestly I think it's a very expensive product and I don't it worths the USD17 that it costs (even if in the US it costs usd 8,5). If it was cheaper I would buy it again for some special moment, but so far I haven't seen any design that I love.
I do admit that they can make your nails look pretty for many days, specially if you have long nails but this is not my situation :(
