Get The Sun-Kissed Look: Stila Sun SPF 15 Bronzing Powder

Hi everybody! I think I'm officially back to "beauty blogging". It's been really hard to get natural light to take pictures since the sun sets so early here and I usually wake up very late. 

Luckily I remembered I had taken a few pictures of some products I wanted to review before I left Argentina and here is one of them:

The Stila Sun SPF 15 Bronzing Powder ($28) comes in very simple bronze case with a big mirror which reminds me of Tarte blushes.

Now, talking about the bronzer itself I have to admit that I'm very impressed, it gives the skin the most beautiful sun-kissed glow without looking too orange or too grey and even if it's a powder bronzer, it has a creamy consistency and sets very easily on the skin without leaving it looking dirty. 

This bronzer is available in two shades and I'm using the shade 2, which is a warm brown matte with a little bit of sparkle. I applied the bronzer all over my face and neck and did some nose contouring and I'm really happy with the results, I think this bronzer suits my NC30 skin beautifully and goes very well with my hair color. Also, this bronzer reminds me of MAC Hibiscus Kiss Blush/Bronzer duo (reviewed here) but this Stila bronzer is way more pigmented.

Finalmente vuelvo al mundo beauty blogger, no porque no haya tenido mucho tiempo para bloggear... el tema es que acá el sol se pone a las 15.30 y yo me despierto no mucho antes que ese horario y obviamente, me niego a tomar fotos con flash.

Por suerte tomé algunas fotos de productos que quería hacer review en Argentina y este es uno de ellos:

Stila Sun SPF 15 Bronzing Powder ($28) es un bronzer en polvo que viene en un envase compacto con espejo y si bien es muy práctico no dice mucho por afuera. Hablando de producto en sí tengo que admitir que es una genialidad, da ese look bronceado sin estar naranja y si bien es un bronzer en polvo tiene una textura cremosa lo cual hace que se quede en la piel y no la ensucie ni la deje polvorosa. Otro dato importante es que es matte con apenas unos destellitos de brillo, lo cual hace que se vea muy natural en la piel.

Este bronzer viene en dos tonos y yo usé el tono 2, me pusé el bronzer con una brocha de polvos en toda la cara y me "afiné" la nariz con una brocha de polvos más pequeña. Me gusta mucho como queda con mi tono de piel que es claro sin ser blanca papel aunque ultimamente Linus dice que estoy tan blanca que parezco muerta... así que me viene bien.

Se acuerdan de la review que hice de MAC Hibiscus Kiss Blush/Bronzer duo de Rihanna? (link aquí), bueno este bronzer es bastante similar salvo que tiene mucha más pigmentación.

Happy New Year everybody! I hope all of you have had a beautiful Christmas and New Year :)
I'm sorry for the lack of posts but I've been off to my boyfriends parents town and I didn't bring my laptop, I really didn't want to do anything except enjoy Christmas food and have a nice time with the family.
Here are a few pictures about my Christmas and New Year. For Christmas I went to a little town called Vingåker which is just the typical Swedish town you see on pictures... mainly forest, lakes and cute houses so I really enjoyed my time there as I live in a big city.
Christmas in Sweden is absolutely beautiful, here they have tradicional food such as meatballs, potatoes, big hams, eggs with shrimps and caviar, little sausages, salmon and other fishes. They also drink lots of alcohol and sing songs which I found lovely and awkward at the same time lol!
We opened our gifts after dinner and I was absolutely shocked when I found out that my boyfriend bought me an Iphone 5s!! I wasn't expecting that at all and I'm really loving it. I also got a few other things like the Woodwick candle that's so gorgeous and smells so good and a white make-up storage box which says 'Smink' that means Make-up in Swedish from Linus grandparents.

We spent a few more days in Vingåker and then came back to Stockholm to start preparing things for NYE which we celebrated at a friend's place and later we all went to Stockholm's downtown to see the fireworks. I have never seen so many drunk people in my life, basically all Stockholm was in the streets looking for a bar to hang out that isn't closed. Sadly we all were too drunk to focus on finding a place to keep drinking so we walked for more than 2 hours and we didn't really end up anywhere haha! Now that I remember I laugh about it but gosh, walking in heels and a dress for 2 hours with -1°C isn't fun at all!

Felíz año nuevo a todas! Espero que todas hayan tenido una felíz navidad y que estén comenzando el año de la mejor manera :)
Lamentablente no subí ningún post estos últimos días ya que me fui a pasar navidad al pueblo donde viven los padres de mi novio y quería hacer nada más que pasar tiempo con la familia y comer hasta reventar jaja.
Como verán en las fotos, pasé algunos días en Vingåker, un típico pueblito sueco de esos que se ven en las fotos donde sólo hay lagos, bosques y casas lindas. Es a 2 horas de Estocolmo pero amo viajar allá ya que los paisajes son tan diferentes.
La navidad en Suecia es muy especial para mí, acá se respetan mucho las tradiciones y se come todos los años la misma comida; albóndigas, papas, jamón, un pastel con papas y pescado, salmón, huevos con camarones y caviar, etc. También toman litros y litros de alcohol y cantan canciones en la mesa lo cual me parecio divino y raro al mismo tiempo jajaja.
Los regalos se abren ni bien se termina de cenar y casi me muero cuando ví que mi novio me regaló un iPhone 5s! No estaba esperando un regalo así y ahora no puedo vivir sin el jaja. También recibí otras cositas como una vela de Woodwick que huele tan bien y me parece que es el comienzo de una nueva adicción :( y una cajita blanca de madera que dice 'Smink' (maquillaje en sueco) ,obviamente es para guardar mi make up y me la regaló los abuelitos de Linus.

Pasamos algunos días en Vingåker y luego volvimos a Stockholm para hacer los preparativos para Año Nuevo el cual pasamos con amigos y a las 12 nos fuimos a ver los fuegos artificiales en Gamla Stan, el centro de la ciudad. Después de ver los fuegos artificiales todos brindan (sí, se llevan el escabio a la calle) y toda la ciudad se transforma en puro descontrol, todos borrachos pero amigables, no me excluyo... estabamos todos tan borrachos que caminamos dos horas sin rumbo jaja ahora me río pero caminar con tacos y un vestido con -1°C no está nada bueno.

Bad day, Bright lipstick | A duo I love by Avon

By this time of the year the Swedish weather can get pretty sucky. I've been here 2 weeks now and I've seen the sunlight only twice. Here's all about clouds, rain and snow.

However if I'm not going to have a bright day, then I'll probably be wearing a bright lipstick, even if it's winter and there are many lovely dark shades to wear... a bright lippie can never go wrong.

A few weeks ago, Avon sent me some products of their new collection and the first thing I've noticed was that the packaging looks much prettier now, it looks more classic and sofisticated compared to other Avon products I've seen before.

Life in Sweden

Hi everybody! I'm back to blogging with a non-beauty related post this time (almost). I've moved to Stockholm, Sweden a few days ago and I wanted to show you with pictures how's life here.

The snow season started just the day I arrived here which made everything even more cozy. I spent the first days at my boyfriend's parents town where all the houses looked so cute and the lakes were frozen. We also visited some friends in Katrineholm and had a lovely snowy day, I got to play with babies and this cute big black dog called Grigg. To be honest, I spent the 99% of the time with Grigg... *crazy dog lady*.

Back to Stockholm I spent the first days trying to make our appartment look a bit more Christmassy. My boyfriend rented a furnished appartment so we really didn't have to add too much to it.

It's very nice to live in Stockholm, two years ago I lived 5 months in Katrineholm, a small town here and there was absolutely nothing to do... When you come from a big city like Buenos Aires it's hard to get used to smaller places with less things to do... Now I'm really glad we can live here and go out as much as we want. We've been definitely loving going out to bars and to the Christmas market which we visited last Saturday. That's for sure the coziest place to go; they sell hot chocolate, warm fluffy socks, sweets and anything that makes you feel even more christmassy. 

Now I'm really looking forward to Christmas. I still wish I could spend Christmas with my family in Argentina but it's time for me to grow up and learn to be far away for them... It's so hard :(

Hola a todas! Vuelvo al mundo blogger con un post poco relacionado con la  belleza. Como ya saben, me mudé a Estocolmo (Suecia) hace unos dias y les quería mostrar como es la vida acá con fotos.

La temporada de nieve empezó justo el día que llegué lo cual hizo todo aún más lindo.

Pasé los primeros días en el pueblo donde viven los papás de mi novio donde las casitas se veían tan tiernas cubiertas de nieve y los lagos congelados.. ahh.

También aprovechamos para visitar a unos viejos amigos en Katrineholm donde pasamos el día comiendo, jugando con bebés y con este perro enorme que ven la foto. Para serles honesta me pasé el día entero jugando con el perro jajaja.

De vuelta en Estocolmo estuve tratando de darle un toque navideño al departamento. Mi novio alquiló este depto que ya vino amoblado así que no hacía falta agregar mucho.

Me encanta vivir en Estocolmo, hace dos años viví 5 meses en una ciudad más chica acá y me costaba mucho acostumbrarme a no hacer nada. Después de vivir en Buenos Aires todo parece aburrido pero ahora que estoy en Estocolmo estamos disfrutando salir, ir a bares y esas cosas que pasan normalmente en una ciudad grande... Como verán en las fotos, me gusta bastante salir de día e ir al mercado navideño del barrio Gamla Stan, donde venden dulces, mermeladas, pantuflas, chocolate caliente.. en fin, todas esas cosas que uno quiere comprar en invierno.

Ahora estoy ansiosa por Navidad, es mi día preferido del año y me encantaría poder pasarlo con mi familia en Argentina aunque no sea posible este año... Es tan difícil estar tan lejos :(
